"Urban Milo" by Dale Denker (Country Artist from Missouri(MO))

"Urban Milo" by Dale Denker is a smooth folk album about "life." This is a fun CD. There are several influences that make up Dale's sound. You'll hear a little folk, country, blues and a bit of reggae as well. Dale's voice has a country twang to it, that is very effective on these tracks. His arrangements make sense and nicely complement his clever songwriting. The musicianship is strong throughout. Highlights are "Roeland," with a bit of that reggae vibe and fun lyrics. "No Money" is another fun one very reminiscent of "Stray Cat Strut." "Still Thinkin' About My Drinkin" is a live track and, as you can guess, takes a humorous look at alcoholism. If you like Willie Nelson, you'll enjoy this one.
