"Between Clark and Nashville" is the latest country rock CD by Graham Clark. Clark, who hails from the UK, truly shines in this traditionally American-dominated genre. Most notable is the outstanding mix of this CD which brings out the topnotch performances of each musician in the band. Everything about this recording is well done and shows off Graham's well honed songwriting skills. The lyrics are simple and catchy and are set perfectly in a mix of guitars, banjo, bass, and piano! This CD features a variety of tempos and styles, but our favorite track is the tender ballad "Promise Me" featuring a tasteful, never over-done acoustic guitar and piano accompaniment. Jackie performs exceptionally on the entire CD. It was a tough decision picking a favorite track. "Concrete Country" by the Gene Butler Band

  "Concrete Country" is an excellent Americana/country CD by the Gene Butler Band. The CD is filled with excellent visual songwriting, excellent musicianship, and excellent recording quality. Gene's raspy voice adds a very distinctive, real sound to the music. The songwriting effectively combines thoughtful lyrics with memorable melodies. The band is tight and talented. We especially enjoy the up-tempo songs on the CD. "You Go On Anyway" and "Ride that Train" have an excellent upbeat rhythmic pattern, harmonica fills, fiddle solo, and 2-part harmonies in the memorable chorus. "Love's the Real Thing" is one of our favorite tracks, with its excellent up-tempo rhythmic pattern and harmonica fills. If you enjoy Americana/country music, you will enjoy this CD. "Mov'n On" By Angela Siracusa

"Mov'n On" is an excellent country/pop CD that features the excellent vocals and songwriting of Angela Siracusa. The songs bring to life the powerful lyrics of Desiree Corso. The CD sends Angela to rising star status. She has all of the elements of a star - A great look to match her excellent voice that is featured on this outstanding CD of country/pop songs. The production and sound quality are excellent. The backing band is tight and impressive. Every track we checked out was solid. "Still Standing" has a strong message, strong vocals, and a memorable chorus. "Concrete Feet" has more of a pop feel, with a powerful chorus that includes a memorable keyboard/violin middle-eastern sounding countermelody. The title track is an emotional number with soulful female backing vocals.
