“Come On Home” by Robin Dean Salmon (Country/Rock artist from Georgia (GA))

"Come On Home" by Robin Dean Salmon is a refreshing Americana reminder of what a potent, poetic look at the world can do for the soul. With catchy lyrics and toe tapping grooves, this CD pulls the heart as well as the body to the soul. The songwriting is extremely strong, with very memorable and well-resolved choruses throughout, to nicely complement the relevant and meaningful lyrics. Robin Dean's vocals clearly and articulately convey the poetic lyrics, with strength, feeling, and pitch-perfection. The music behind Robin Dean's voice is very professional and tight, with a definite country influence. "You Are The One" relates a story of love and faith that strikes a chord with each word. The strong religious heartfelt lyrics of "Chimayo" display Robin Dean's ability to give life and words to faith, pain and loss. "Just a Matter of Time" features some very lush harmonies to add to the strength of the chorus. This emotional collection of tracks will have you dancing, laughing, and crying, and is a great addition to your collection if you are a fan of Americana, country, or country/rock.

"All Night Through" by The Shaker Sisters (Country Artist from Los Angeles, California(CA))

"All Night Through" by The Shaker Sisters is a high energy country pop album featuring two gorgeous voices and a lively band behind them. There is also a folk element to the make-up of the sound, as the Sisters' voices lend themselves well to it. Above all you can't ignore the attitude. Picture how it would be if Thelma and Louise sang in a band. The harmonies throughout the CD are very effective. Musically the band is superior. The rhythm section is solid and there is some nice fiddle work throughout. Highlights are the title track "All Night Through," which encompasses all elements of the sound and gets the party started. "You Can't Change Me" features some quirky lyrics and is a testament to the frustrations of dealing with men. "The Key" slows things down a bit and has some nice harmony in the vocals. If you like Dixie Chicks, you'll enjoy this excellent CD.

"Outlaws and Renegades" by Galloway and Kelliher (Country Artist from Florida(FL))

"Outlaws and Renegades" by Galloway and Kelliher is a hard hittin' country rock album with a southern rock attitude. It is an album put together by veterans of some 20 years, and it shows. There is a great deal of energy coming through the speakers when listening to these tracks, with solid arrangements and good musicianship. The vibe is positive. The lyrics are delivered well, sound good and are well harmonized at the right time. Highlights are the opener "Rebel Rock," with heavy guitars, attitude and an intent to rock the house."Virginia Moon" has a nice relationship between saxophone and guitar, and a strong vocal performance. "She's Got the Rhythm" is your classic southern rock tune with some fine guitar and harmonica work. If you like Lynyrd Skynyrd and The Allman Brothers, you'll enjoy this one.

"Urban Milo" by Dale Denker (Country Artist from Missouri(MO))

"Urban Milo" by Dale Denker is a smooth folk album about "life." This is a fun CD. There are several influences that make up Dale's sound. You'll hear a little folk, country, blues and a bit of reggae as well. Dale's voice has a country twang to it, that is very effective on these tracks. His arrangements make sense and nicely complement his clever songwriting. The musicianship is strong throughout. Highlights are "Roeland," with a bit of that reggae vibe and fun lyrics. "No Money" is another fun one very reminiscent of "Stray Cat Strut." "Still Thinkin' About My Drinkin" is a live track and, as you can guess, takes a humorous look at alcoholism. If you like Willie Nelson, you'll enjoy this one.
